Rose was the 2020 Shannon Fabrics Color of the Year, a fact you may not have heard yet. Softer and more comforting than the popular 2019 Color of the Year (Scarlett), it aligns more closely with the company's tagline "Making The World A Softer Place." This color is available in many different shades and textures.

To celebrate the 2020 Color of the Year, Shannon Fabrics has created an irresistibly soft Rose-themed kit. The kit includes many of their top Rose-colored fabrics. Eight 10-inch pre-cut strips make up the kit, featuring Luxe Cuddle Jupiter Rosewater, Luxe Cuddle Frost Rosewater, Luxe Cuddle Hide Woodrose, and Luxe Cuddle Frosted Hide Rosewater fabrics, as well as Luxe Cuddle Marble Wild Rose fabric for the binding.

The finished quilt from this kit measures approximately 58" by 68". Shannon Fabrics recommends using about 2 yards of Luxe Cuddle Demi Rose Woodrose for the backing, although this fabric is not included in the kit.

This Crazy 8 Rosalie cuddle kit has been designed by Shannon Fabrics. The kit includes the pattern and fabric for the quilt top and binding. The fabrics used are Minky, which is 100% Polyester, and are of premium quilt shop quality.

While the 2020 Color of the Year, Rose, may be similar to the previous year's Scarlett, it is softer and more comforting in nature. This aligns well with Shannon Fabrics' mission of "Making The World A Softer Place." The availability of Rose in multiple shades and textures allows for greater versatility in design and creation.
